Malone Weather
I am still reconfiguring my weather station and the upload of data to MaloneToday.com. You can access information collected by my weather station at:
- WeatherUnderground: http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/hdfForecast?query=12953&searchType=WEATHER
- APRS: http://www.findu.com/cgi-bin/wxpage.cgi?call=CW6998
Update:
I switched to Ambient Weather’s Virtual Weather Station software after being unable to resolve continued challenges with incorrect barometric pressure, humidity, and dew point readings, especially at low temperatures. The change was long overdue. It appears that all of my weather station readings are now being handled correctly and within APRS data QA norms.

Owens in office illegally and maybe even with losing vote count?
The
Democrats in their desperation for votes on their health care plan may have set themselves up for a rather big embarrassment regarding the special election for New York’s 23rd Congressional District. Bill Owens is not the certified winner, he contested the results November 2, and yet was sworn in by desperate Democrats in Washington. Now, not only may he be in office illegally, he might even lose the vote count once all of the votes are counted and errors in original counts are corrected. It will serve the Democrats right if the results favor Doug Hoffman and Owens has to vacate his seat.
Lie, Lie, Lie to Get Elected
Newly sworn in Congressman Bill Owens laid bare four lies less than a day after taking office. Contrary to his campaign promises, immediately upon arriving in Washington Owens:
- voted for the public option health care plan,
- voted to cut Medicare benefits,
- voted to tax health care benefits, and
- voted to increase taxes on middle income Americans.
