Politico asks “Should Obama hit the reset but­ton on the White House? If so, where might he find it?”

My thoughts as I wrote to Politico and as they have now published:

Should Obama hit the reset but­ton? You’re kid­ding right?! Step One: Obama should apol­o­gize for bank­rupt­ing the coun­try, going around the world and apol­o­giz­ing for us as if it were needed, then bow­ing fealty to the likes of the Saudi king, the Japan­ese Emperor, the Chi­nese leader and, if we give him a chance, maybe even Iran’s Supreme Leader Aya­tol­lah Ali Khamenei.

Obama gave us mas­sive debt to bailout large cor­po­rate Amer­i­can, gave bil­lions to for­eign car mak­ers through a junker car pro­gram, instead of fix­ing health care, tried and failed to replace it, can’t make a deci­sion on ongo­ing mil­i­tary war and occu­pa­tion in Afghanistan and Iraq, gave up pro­tect­ing our bor­ders and work­places from ille­gal immi­grants, still insists on sign­ing us up for costly pro­grams to com­bat now dis­cred­ited global warm­ing, and… does one really need to continue?!

Obama has been a dis­as­ter for the U.S. from day one. His only suc­cess, after a cou­ple weeks in office was to gain nom­i­na­tion for and now receive a Nobel Peace Prize. Embar­rass­ing, really.

Oh, yeah. Obama has had a steady stream of par­ties since arriv­ing at the White House. Even Kobe steak. Really con­cerned about spend­ing our tax dol­lars wisely.

Yes, reset by resignation.

    You are so right! Sur­pris­ing that Politico printed your com­ment. You for­got to men­tion Obama’s Olympic fail­ure and his stu­pid com­ments about the police arrest­ing his Har­vard friend. Also, he demanded an end to Israeli set­tle­ment con­struc­tion and land seizures but was told to butt out. He’s proven impotent.

    Obama has accom­plished zip, nada, noth­ing, zero. Yes, he is the big Zero. Resign he should. But don’t for­get that we then get Biden.

    Chairman of the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) says global warming is not debunk because of a few scientists.  For Rajendra Pachauri--check out the picture accompanying the article as this guy is a definite look-alike of the Unibomber and his the religion of  Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW)  is just as dangerous to civilization.  Anyway, he claims that despite everything, AGW is alive and well.  He even defended Phil Jones and said he should not resign.

    New York Times editorial the president an F for diplomacy in the Middle East.  Obama "demanded that Israel freeze settlements, Palestinians crack down on anti-Israel violence and Arab leaders demonstrate their readiness to reach out to Israel."  Nine months later, Israel still says no, Palestinians refuse talks until they do, and Arab states refuse to do anything.  Obama achieved nothing, except a dismal 4% approval rating in Israel.

    Climate change data dumped (Times)
    The Climate Research Unit says, according to the Telegraph, that they will release the raw data that global warming is based upon.  At the same time the Times reports that the same folks now admit that the raw data was thrown away.  All they kept was the manipulated data they created to support global warming.  As Roger Pielke, professor of environmental studies at Colorado University, is quoted in the Times, “The CRU is basically saying, ‘Trust us’."

    According to this article, Obama continues to run at least two secret prisons--one in Iraq and one in Afghanistan--with reports of abuse and prisoners held without rights normally afforded prisons of war.  Surprising to hear that this continued after Bush left office.  This is a terrible stain on America's reputation and puts Americans at risk of similar mistreatment if captured.
